My Favorite Rent the Runway Brands

I’ve been a loyal Rent the Runway customer for a few years now, I love the opportunity to constantly try new fashion brands and styles! My rationale for signing up for RTR was to have some elevated pieces to rotate into my work wardrobe but what was initially meant to be a wardrobe extension quickly became an obsession. I was living in NYC at the time with the flagship store a quick subway ride (or long Saturday morning walk, more often) away so I could swap out endless styles and try on a handful of new styles every week. When I moved away from the city, I revised my membership based on my lifestyle but even during the pandemic, I’ve been loving my two-swap membership. It allows me to try new brands, explore trends, and have an endless array of colorful looks all year-round!

BONUS! Another major perk of incorporating RTR into my wardrobe is dry cleaning. Rent the Runway takes care of all the cleaning so it saves me on weekly dry cleaning for my professional pieces! It’s great to have the option to grab a few blazers from RTR when I have a work trip coming up and know I can return them the next week without having to take my own blazers to the cleaners.

Waverly Grey

I love Waverly Grey because if I could be a fashion label this would be it – the perfect combination of professional neutrals with feminine and colorful dresses for out-of-office fun. Every time I get a Waverly Grey dress I know I can trust the fit and quality, and that I’ll get compliments wherever I go!

Veronica Beard

Veronica Beard is one of my favorite labels period. When I’m looking for the highest-quality blazers for layering it’s my go-to brand. I actually first heard about the brand on the TODAY show years ago and to be honest it was a big reason for me signing up for RTR in the first place! I’ve also rented a few dresses and they were all flattering cuts with luxury fabrics! You can’t go wrong with anything Veronica Beard.

P.S. – These blazers are $600-700 off the rack, so your monthly RTR membership fee is SO worth it when your spots are filled with beautiful luxe pieces like these beauties!

Color Me Courtney

This list would not be complete without featuring Courtney’s colorful line of patterned dresses and sets! She’s a fellow Disney-lover and the most creative content creator so I love supporting her! From gingham dresses to fruity two-piece sets, there’s something for everyone who loves a little bit of color in their closet. This collection is also exclusive to RTR! Note: I do find the line to fit a bit larger compared to others so I usually have to size down for a better fit!

Others

Another colorful brand I look to for fun jumpsuits and dresses is Yumi Kim. I got so many compliments wearing this pink and red number in Disney Springs!

As for special events, gowns and cocktail dresses, Monique Lhuillier is always my first search. The most feminine and flattering cuts and fabrics!

Lastly, I recently discovered Susan Alexandra bags on RTR and I’m obsessed! The bags on Rent the Runway are easily overlooked but I’ve rented a few of these little Susan Alexandra bags because their beaded style is so incredibly unique! The first time I got one my husband said “whoa is that made of candy? that’s kind of cool!” because the texture from the large beads is so much like the nostalgic piles of candy or in my case, reminds me of bracelet-making as a kid. It doesn’t get more fun than that!

These are just some of my go-to brands from Rent the Runway. I try to mix it up and always try new brands every shipment but these are the labels I find myself gravitating back to for their reliable fit, luxe quality, and fun details.

What are some of your favorite brands to grab from RTR?
